Internship @ NCS Group (Work Experience | EXTRA-CURRICULAR) (May - June, 2024)

During my impactful internship at NCS, I trained a GPT model using provided data and seamlessly integrated it into a program to design a chatbot user interface, complete with a custom avatar of Senior Partner Sami Luukenon. This project is set to be unveiled at the prestigious NCS Impact event. After presenting the model to Sami, I enhanced its capabilities by expanding its knowledge base with additional data and refining its performance using the OpenAI API with a JSONL file for further training. I then trained another GPT model to address inquiries related to NCS HR and Singtel plans. Recognizing the limitations of this approach, I pivoted to chunking and embedding information to leverage the advanced OpenAI LLM for precise and tailored responses. The chatbot can now provide detailed information on newly joined employee procedures, shuttle bus schedules, and company insurance policies. To optimize the retrieval of Singtel plan details, I developed a Flask method to facilitate efficient API calls. These strategic adjustments reflect my dedication to employing advanced methodologies to enhance user experiences and streamline operational efficiencies.
