Space Lab (CO-CURRICULAR) (May - June) (2024 - 2025)

My school supports a student-run research group called Space Lab as part of the Quest for Space program which is fully funded. Our group’s goal is to design, research, and build a scientific experiment to be sent to the International Space Station (ISS) for one month. This year, I had the privilege of serving as Project Head of the Electrical department for the experiment. Under my leadership, we plan to use a genetically modified E. Coli with S. Oneidensis protein complexes, to successful recreate electricity generation using a Microbial Fuel Cell. Our experiment will help develop biotechnology as well as address remote energy generation in microgravity climates. Leading this project has been one of my most significant achievements, and I am honored to have served as the head of the electrical department.
