Abstract:


In recent years, the evolution of data-driven approaches has truly transformed the landscape of space exploration, leveraging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and big data analytics. This paper provides an overview of the evolution and development of data driven approaches and their crucial role in advancing space exploration. Beginning with an introduction to the significance of data-driven methodologies in the context of space exploration, this paper highlights the rapid advancements in technology and the increasing volume of data available for analysis.


The discussion will delve into application of such data-driven approaches in various aspects of space exploration, including mission planning and operations, exploration and research, robotics and automation, Earth observation, and space technology development. Furthermore, the emergence of interdisciplinary field such as astroinformatics and space data science will be explored, showcasing how experts in fields tackle complex challenged using data- driven approaches
