During a transformative two-week summer program in the city of Oxford named "Designing Tomorrow: Engineering and Technology," I delved into the complexities of bridge design, architecture, and construction. Immersing myself in the world of engineering, I gained invaluable insights into the functionality and design of jet engines, aircraft, mechatronics, and drones. One of the highlight experiences during the program was developing and presenting an independent report on the conceptualisation of a suspension bridge connecting Singapore and Pulau Ubin, showcasing my passion for innovative engineering solutions. Moreover, I had the privilege of attending a seminar featuring astronaut Helen Sharman and engaging in a thought-provoking discussion on artificial intelligence (AI) with a distinguished guest speaker. These experiences have not only expanded my knowledge but have also fuelled my enthusiasm for pushing boundaries in the fields of engineering and technology.
